Zest Donation

Hi from all of the Zest Team. They say all publicity is good publicity, but I’m not sure that it applies in this case. As most of you are aware, there has been a Clane link to the ongoing Console saga. As this scandal has become public, so too did credit card receipts of the misused funds, and it was to our to our disappointment that several visits to our restaurant could be found amongst these receipts.

Although there was no way of us having known about this, we still find it very regrettable. I personally, as well as the rest of the staff here at Zest, are big supporters of the great work being done by mental health workers around the country, and as a show of this support, we will be donating €500 to the Pieta House Organisation. Pieta House provides a supportive, therapeutic approach to those in distress. We hope the great progress being made in tackling the issue of mental in this country is not diminished or slowed due to the actions of a single person.
