New Wines Added to Our Menu

Here at Zest we update our wine list regularly and choose wines that match our seasonal ingredients.
There is a wide choice of wines available now and we are lucky to have a great supplier that introduces new wines to our tastings and we get to hear the background on how the wine was produced.
You may choose the wine you like by its grape, the region, how it tastes, its name, how the bottle looks, price, or a combination of them all, but it all comes down to your taste buds and if you like it. You can get a good idea of whether you’ll like a wine by looking at its tasting notes and if you like the sound of it, well it’s worth exploring.
So if you’re a wine enthusiast or curious to know more about the wines on our menu let us know. Here is some background on our new additions.

This wine is produced in small batches and is fermented for about a year before bottling making it well balanced and smooth.
Tasting Notes
Golden hued and well balanced with almond and honey notes with a gentle citrus twist on the finish.
Montepulciano d`Abruzzo `La Bella Addormentata
Montepulciano d`Abruzzo `La Bella Addormentata` is a red from Abruzzo region and is made using the Montepulciano grape which is grown in 15-20-year-old vineyards in the production zones of Ortona, San Salvo and Pollutri.
The grapes were handpicked in 2015. There was a lot of heat that summer particularly in August but some light rainfall came through the growth cycle to produce well-balanced grapes.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red with hints of purple this wine tastes like cherry, blackberries, and an intense balsamic note. If you like a full bodied wine with good tannins this is a well balanced with a long finish so it’s just perfect with Italian meat dishes.
