Father’s Day at Zest

Fathers can be unusual creatures. On one hand they are logical, practical, and pragmatic. They keep a keen eye out making sure no lights are kept on unnecessarily or ensuring (god forbid) the immersion isn’t left on. They might change your flat tyre or teach you about the true art form of cutting the grass, but will inevitably embarrass all with their dance moves at any given wedding.

On the other hand, it often seems like they follow no reason or common sense whatsoever. They will persist with the family BBQ despite ominous grey clouds appearing overhead, they’ll cheer and shout at the tv as if the players or the referee can hear them, and they will tell the same awful jokes wherever possible, and still manage to make us laugh.

We have a lot to thank fathers for, but if the fact that Father’s Day is this Sunday is news to you - don’t fret! We here at Zest will be open throughout the weekend. So why not get some quality time in with the ‘aul fella’ and treat him to a meal?

On Saturday, we will be running our breakfast, lunch or dinner service, but if you’d rather go out on the big day, we will be serving Brunch on Sunday from 12:30 pm - 4 pm, and dinner from 4.30pm onwards.
